All Saints Camp Bahamas-July 1-7 2012
For students in grades 9-12
"The crumbling sidewalks and dilapidated cabins of the All Saints Camp in Nassau, Bahamas tell the story of a neglected community, suffering from AIDS and HIV. The dismal conditions of the camp are a result of lack of finances and support. Shunned for their illness, the residents have been placed in an area on the Island separate from the hustle and bustle of Nassau’s tourism and commerce. Many of the small wood cabins in which they live are deteriorating and need to be repaired or completely rebuilt. The shelter's sanctuary, bathhouse, and other buildings, are also in desperate need of expansion and repair. In addition, the concrete walkway through the camp is so cracked and crumbling that many residents cannot safely leave their cabins". (taken from Next Step's website) Our team will work on various construction projects throughout the week, everything from mixing/ laying concrete to make new sidewalks, to building new cabins, to doing repairs on already existing cabins. We will also get many opportunities throughout the week to interact with the residents that live at All Saints. For more info or to sign up to be apart of the team, contact Jake or Kristine at

Student Ministry Winter Retreats
Emerge (6th-8th grade) – January 27th-29th
Uprising(9th-12th grade) – February 3rd-5th Cost: $100 Where: 144 Bromback Street, Pittsfield MA 01201 Drop-off: 4 p.m. Friday, at Grace Community Church Pick-up: 2 p.m. Sunday, at Grace Community Church Theme: Timothy in his second book clarifies the source of the Bible as “inspired by God”. The phrase “inspired by God” in the original language literally means God-breathed, meaning if a person lives a life marked by the Bible their life is marked by God’s very breath. We want to create a concentrated environment where we equip ourselves with the tools to be able to read the Bible on our own. We want to read the Bible for all its worth. For some people that journey will start this weekend, for others the journey will continue. Contact Jake or Kristine at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
