OUR FUTURE HOME IN WESTFORD
In 2015, we purchased a beautiful parcel of land (17 prime acres located on one of the main roads of growing Westford, MA) and today, after many years of fundraising and many iterations of the building plans, we will soon have the opportunity to build our own building on that land. Once built, we will move our church family to this new, permanent location. The cost of our current rental space is nearly $20,000 per month. As better stewards of God’s money, when we build, we will be investing those funds into a facility that the church will own. We are excited about that and feel convicted that it is a wise thing to do.
But more importantly, we believe that our ability to reach more people for Jesus is the true catalyst in our desire to build our new facility. We will be joining a vibrant and diverse community in Westford, and will have the opportunity to touch many people in this area through our ministries and through outreach to the local community. We are excited to meet and engage with the people of Westford and the surrounding area, and share a new sense of hope and purpose that only comes through knowing Jesus!
Please see the Building Update section below for current information on the building process.
Things are moving along as our building team continues to work towards breaking ground on our land in Westford off of Littleton Road near the center of town. Our hope is to break ground end of 2022, early 2023, and have construction underway throughout 2023!
We have some exciting news to share with you! A couple of weeks ago we received the best news we could have asked for— a loan approval from one of the church lenders that we have been working with over the past nine months, that when combined with the money in our building fund, will cover the full cost of the new building. With this loan we will finally be able to break ground for our new building on our land in Westford this spring. We anticipate an April-May closing on the loan, and will keep you posted on any specific dates for construction to begin. As we await loan approval, our general contractor is applying for the building permit from the town, and the site contractor is ready to begin working as soon as we have the OK from both the town and the lender. We thank you for all your prayers, continued financial commitment, and patience as we move forward in this long-awaited, and very exciting process!
